Dog Walking Service in Nottingham
The walks I plan take into account your dogs needs. I can walk with them either on or off the lead at your request, and you can choose anything from a short, half hour walk to full day care. Hour long walks are very popular for customers who work during the day and offer your dog the chance to socialize with other dogs, stretch their legs in open countryside and break up the day. Some customers I see once a week whereas others I walk every day, and I am flexible with times, often fitting dogs in at the last minute should my customers have a change in their working day.
Based in the Burton Joyce area of Nottingham and having lived in Gedling Borough my whole life, I have a good knowledge of the surrounding area. There are plenty of beautiful walks to choose from and I often venture to new places, after first checking for suitability, to give my regular walkers variety and lots of new smells and sights.
I will collect and return your dog in a customized dog vehicle, which has air con, a fan and plenty of space. Each dog has their own, spacious crate inside and I carry water, a first aid kit and towels in case the weather has been bad.
I keep in contact with my customers throughout the week, updating them with any news, or with pictures I have taken on the walks showing what their pooches are getting up to while they are hard at work!
For some customers who are planning a day out or have a particularly long working day, I offer a full day care service. Their dog is usually dropped off and collected (although a collection service can be arranged with an additional mileage charge) between 8.30 and 6pm.
Dogs using the daycare service receive two walks (or less if required) and are cared for at my home, with plenty of attention and interaction. There is a secure garden with an ample grassy area and a toy box with bones and chew toys for all the dogs that stay. They will always have canine company, as my dog George looks forward to having a play pal for the day.
I offer a home from home service, and your dog will get to spend their holiday as a part of the family here. They will get two walks per day and I try to accommodate my customer’s needs to fit in with their usual walking routine. Any medication or specific needs during mealtime can be adhered to.
They will have access to the whole of the downstairs of my house, and garden, which is light, airy and spacious, so they have plenty of room to roam. I don’t book in more than 2 large or 4 small dogs at any one time, so the house is not too crowded, and they have the chance to relax and rest after their walks if they want to.
From short, one night stays to many weeks at a time; customers can choose the length of stay to suit their timetable. Before their stay, I ask that the customer and their dog come to visit the house to meet my dog and me. This ensures that you and your dog are familiar with the place they will be staying, and gives you peace of mind while away from home.
